Engineered for safety and continuity
The main switchboard is the heart of a ship's power system — if it fails, the vessel loses propulsion, steering and safety systems. That is why every board starts with careful engineering: load balance, short-circuit and selectivity studies ensure that a fault is isolated exactly where it occurs while the rest of the vessel stays powered. Internal separation up to Form 4b, arc-fault considerations and clear segregation of redundant sections protect both the vessel and the people who operate and maintain it.
Ready for hybrid and shore power
Modern switchboards are more than distribution boards. We integrate shore connection, battery and converter feeders, shaft generator connections and DC sections so that the vessel is ready for hybrid operation and zero-emission time at the berth — today or as a later upgrade.
Built to be maintained
Front or front-and-rear access, logical labelling, generous cable space and well-documented drawings make inspection and maintenance safer and faster for crews and service engineers throughout the vessel's life.
